You have 8 transponder chip keys programmed to a vehicle at one time.

 

Follow these instructions if you have at least one working key (USA made vehicles only):

  1. Take your new, uncut key(s) to a professional dealership or automotive locksmith to be cut to your vehicle.
  2. The vehicle should be off, enter the driver’s seat with all keys you wish to have programmed, including any previously working keys.
  3. Insert a previously working key into your ignition and turn it to ON/RUN.
  4. Now, turn your ignition to OFF/LOCK and remove the key from the ignition.
  5. Within 5 seconds, insert your new key into your ignition and turn it to ON/RUN and wait for the security light on the dash to turn off. Once it turns off the new key has been programmed.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for all new keys you wish to program.
  7. Test the new key(s).

 

Follow these instructions if you do not have any working keys (USA made vehicles only):

  1. Take your new, uncut key(s) to a professional dealership or automotive locksmith to be cut to your vehicle.
  2. The vehicle should be off, enter the driver’s seat with your new key.
  3. Insert your new key into your ignition.
  4. Turn your ignition to ON/RUN. On your dash, you will see the security light turn on.
  5. Wait about 10 minutes until you see the security light turn off.
  6. Turn your ignition to LOCK/OFF.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 twice more, for a total of 3 times. Once you’ve complete these steps three times, turn your ignition to ON/RUN and the key will be programmed. (All previously working keys will be erased, and only this new key will work.)
  8. Test the new key.
  9. If you have additional keys you wish to program, continue by following the programming steps for if you have at least one working key.
