Read the instructions all the way through before beginning to make sure you fully understand each step and can perform it quickly enough. If you're having trouble getting the vehicle to enter programming mode, try to vary the timing of the steps. |
2001 - 2005 Buick Century 2001 - 2004 Buick Regal 2001 - 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue 2001 - 2005 Pontiac Aztek Follow these instructions for the above vehicles: Make sure you have all fobs with you that you want to program, including any original fobs you already had. These vehicles can have up to and no more than FOUR remote fobs programmed at once. 1. Close all of the vehicle's doors. 2. Insert your key into the ignition and turn to ON (but do not start the engine). 3. Turn the ignition OFF and remove your key from the ignition. 4. Hold the UNLOCK button on the driver's side door panel while completing the next steps. 5. Insert your key into the ignition (WITHOUT turning the key) and remove it from the ignition TWICE, then insert it a THIRD time and leave the key in the ignition. 6. Release the UNLOCK button on the driver's side door panel. The car will beep three times to signify that you have entered programming mode. 7. On the remote fob, press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time and hold for about 15 seconds until the vehicle beeps twice to signal successful programming. 8. Repeat step 7 for all fobs that you wish to program. 9. Once all fobs have been programmed, remove your key from the ignition to end programming mode. |
2002 - 2007 Buick Rendezvous Programming instructions for this vehicle: Make sure you have all fobs with you that you want to program, including any original fobs you already had. 1. Close all of the vehicle's doors. 2. Hold the UNLOCK button on the driver's side door panel while completing the next steps. 3. Insert your key into the ignition (WITHOUT turning the key) and remove it from the ignition TWICE, then insert it a THIRD time and leave the key in the ignition. 4. 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Programming instructions for this vehicle: Make sure you have all fobs with you that you want to program, including any original fobs you already had. 1. Close all of the vehicle's doors. 2. Use the legend on the fuse panel or owner's manual to locate the "MALL PGM" fuse within the fuse panel and remove it. 3. Insert your key in the ignition and turn to the ACC position. 4. Turn the ignition OFF and then back to the ACC position within one second. 5. Open and close the car door, and the car will beep signaling the vehicle has entered programming mode. 6. On the remote fob, press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time and hold for about 14 seconds. You may hear a beep at about 7 seconds, but keep holding for about 14 seconds for a second beep confirming successful programming. 7. Repeat step 5 for all fobs that you wish to program. 8. Once all fobs have been programmed, remove your key from the ignition to end programming mode. 9. Re-install the MALL-PGM fuse. |
