Can I program a new key to my car?
You can only perform these self-programming instructions if your vehicle's model year is 2008-2009, and already have at least TWO working keys that are able to start your vehicle.
If you have lost all of your keys, you have only one working key or your vehicle's model year is 2010 or new then these instructions will not work.

Self-Programming Instructions:
1. Have your new key blank(s) cut by a licensed automotive locksmith or dealership.
2. Enter your vehicle with your two already working keys, and have your newly cut keys with you.
3. Insert the first of your already working keys into your vehicle’s ignition.
4. Turn your ignition to ON (do not start the vehicle) for at least 3 seconds, but less than 15 seconds, then turn the ignition back to OFF and remove that first key from the ignition.
5. Within 15 seconds of removing the first key, insert the second of your already working keys into your vehicle’s ignition and turn your ignition to ON (do not start the vehicle). After about 10 seconds, your vehicle will chime and the Theft Alarm light be begin flashing.
6. Turn your vehicle’s ignition to OFF and remove that second key from the ignition.
7. Within 60 seconds of removing that second key from the ignition, insert your new, unprogrammed key into the ignition and turn the ignition to ON (do not start the vehicle).
8. After about 10 seconds, your vehicle will chime and the Theft Alarm light will stop flashing, then light up again for about 3 seconds before turning off. The new key has now been programmed to your vehicle. Turn your ignition OFF.
9. Remove this newly programmed key from the ignition. Repeat these instructions for each new key.
10. Test the newly programmed key(s).
